Joomla 3.1 – Login Module on the Front Page

STEPS

1) Go to your Joomla! Start Page.

2) Login.

2.1) Enter admin/password .
2.2) Outcome.
3) Edit the article.
3.1) Notice the Gear icon at the top right of the article column. Click the drop-down symbol and select Edit.
3.2) Try changing some texts on this page and click Save when you are done.
3.3) Outcome.
4) User Types.
Users of Joomla web sites can be broken down into two broad categories;
1) Guests
2) Registered Users
Guests are simply users of your Joomla web site who managed to navigate their way to your site. Depending on how the site administrator has configured the site, users may be free to browse all the content or restricted to a subset of the content available with some content been reserved for registered users.
Registered users have registered with your site to obtain a username and password. This username and password allows registered users to log into your site, receiving special privileges not available to guests. Registered users are broken down into groups;
1) Frontend users
2) Backend Users (via Administrator page)
